The Karachi Biennale 2017 featured an extensive Art Educational Program that created an environment where contemporary art becomes a way to inquire and generate knowledge together.

Pre-Biennale Program
Undertaken to start conversations about the Biennale with schools invited for tours of KB17, ensuring early engagement:
- "KB17 In Your School" workshops: Reached out to 1,109 students from 13 unique schools.
- "Art Think Tank Phase 1": Engaged around 80 A-Level students at 3 schools.
During Biennale Program
We structured visits to allow children to critically engage with site-specific artwork:
- Reached out to 2,023 students and 195 teachers from a total of 30 schools.
- School Tours conducted at 4 Biennale venues, 4 days a week.
- "Art Think Tank Phase II": Discussed the current Art Scene and the possible impact of the Biennale on the city and how we perceive 'Art'.
Weekend Program & Family Engagement
Attracted around 510 people as family groups through interactive weekend sessions:
- "Ma ka Hath ka Khana": A family-oriented food and art activity.
- "Art Chaos Theory": A collaborative program with Manchester Art Gallery, where schools in Manchester and Karachi created impressions of each other's cities.
